I recently had the pleasure of working with Eddie Edmonds and Lewis Parry of Horizon Habitats Ltd on a project in the capacity of Principal Designer / Contract Administrator from January to August 2016. The project involved the conversion and extension of a building in Bournemouth, to form 11 new apartments, with the JCT contract value of circa £500,000 – which is due for completion shortly. The project has been very professionally handled to date, and is due for completion within the agreed timescale and budget – in accordance with the Contract. I have found Eddie and Lewis’ Construction Management skills and general standard of workmanship to be very good, and have found them both to be very approachable, knowledgeable, fair and honest. I would not hesitate to recommend Horizon, to undertake similar projects of this nature, up to a similar contract value.

From the outset, they presented themselves as very motivated and affable, but most of all, trustworthy people. The latter was important as we were not present on-site during the demolition and construction work. Regardless, they made every effort to keep us informed throughout the process.
We found their work to be delivered to consistently high standards – in our experience, this is something of a valuable rarity in tradesmen. They would always deliver objectively quality results, however, as is to be expected in everything, nothing is ever subjectively perfect the first time, but anything we were unhappy with was soon put right with no fuss.

This building company has completed a major house renovation for us. The project has been very extensive, including the conversion of the roof space into a bedroom and a new staircase, the whole property has been completely renovated to such a beautiful standard that words cannot express how proud we are to call this wonderful house our home. The landscaping and the Purbeck stone walls were very important to me and are magnificent.
I cannot recommend this company highly enough, they really are a joy to work with, they have been so patient and helpful during such an emotional time. They have removed all of the stress and delivered to us a beautiful home.

We would like to express our delight in the way that our renovation and large attic conversion have been carried out to our dormer bungalow. The 20 week work schedule was completed on time with no nasty surprises to cost or quality.

Mr Parry & Mr Edmonds undertook the construction of our 47sqm single storey expansion. They organised the groundworks, brickwork, window installation, rendering, fascias and soffits and the reinstatement of the garden on completion.
It was necessary to alter the original structural drawings part way through the development, which they undertook and liased with all the relevant parties. Their original quotation remained in tact throughout the project and their workmanship, time keeping and attitude towards the customer was impeccable.
We were so impressed with their service we also employed them to carry out some work on our London property, which involved excavation and construction of a new staircase to our lower ground flat.
